OK. I’ll stop adding to this list so I don’t get too overwhelmed… At least I know HOW I’m going to quilt the Green Albatross, finally. That’s a huge step in the right direction.

your list makes me tired
And she left off the knitting and whatever projects she starts soon. 🙂
RaRa, you’re always tired.
Jerry, I signed up for the Mexican Star class today. 🙂 We can buy the fabrics for it on my birfday.
I am always tired …. lately!
Yep. That first week of school is a killer, no?
What do you do with all of your quilts?
Hmmm… Some of them get piled on the back of the sofa so we can cuddle in front of the TV. Or on the floor. Or wherever. One is on Helen’s bed. Another is on the back of an antique chair in the living room. There are 4 hanging from walls in our house.
Of the ones listed above… 1 is intended for our bed (once the cats die), 1 for the sofa (and two of the ones currently in use in that area will go up on walls), and the rest are for hanging. If Jerry and I can’t agree on where to hang them, I’ll put them up in the sewing room where I can enjoy them. 🙂
Man, I’m glad you said that. Because I can’t be the only one who’s looking forward to when the cats die.
WAIT, I didn’t mean that like it sounded.. not YOUR cats.. BRYAN’S cats.
WAIT, again..
I’m pretty sure most people are looking forward to when our cats die, because then I’ll stop bitching about them. Stupid cats.
We’re looking forward to when the cats die too. Unfortunately, our blended family includes a total of 4 cats.
So does ours, Steph. 4 cats that hate each other. They have lived together for EIGHT YEARS now. You’d think they’d get over it. But nooooooooooo….. We have to keep them segregated with a DMZ at the bedroom door.
Stupid cats.
Yes that is why i have 6 dogs 🙂
I have to say I’m jealous of your list. My whole week has been consumed with negotiating a contract with an attorney who… well… let’s just say I’d be hard pressed to find anywhere I could actually shove a stick. Too tight. Grrrr…
Our last remaining cat dies on Friday.
The children will be moderately sad.
We shall not.
Which is probably sad in and of itself….
Friday? Why Friday?
Aww, Nancy, I’m sorry about your cat. It is a miserable thing, having to schedule a pet to die. I’m not even a cat person and that makes me sad.
Cause Norm gets off work early on Friday.
Cause Thursday didn’t give the girls enough “lead time”.
Thanks for the sentiment Sarah…truly… But this cat has been a thorn in our side since day one…way back in 1989. While there will be a measure of sadness…it will be more in lines of…wish she would have been a nicer cat.
I used to be a cat person. THIS CAT made me a dog person.
Hm. Well, okay. Again, not a cat person.
It’s just a very sobering experience, putting down an animal. I had to take my 14 year old poodle to be put down (she had an inoperable tumor in her bladder) last October, and it was such an.. experience. I guess it grounds you.
Either way, cat person or otherwise, you have my condolences. And wishes for better luck next time. 🙂
