Last year during winter break, I wrapped my stash on magazine boards and put it all on open shelving in color order.
It took a while.
And a lot of pins.
But I finally got it all done. Well, except for one bin in my closet. And a small collection of novelty fabric that I intend to use for something.
Over the course of a year, it had gotten junky.
Today I pulled all the clutter off of the fronts of the shelves and redistributed the cards so that I can see and access everything again.
So much better.
I have to say that I love having my stash stored this way. It has made me more willing and enthusiastic to use up fabric that I already have, rather than just purchasing more of it.
And it’s pretty. There’s that.
