No sewing today. I spent a lot of the evening storming (!!!) around our house, angry cleaning, because of something that showed up in my email inbox late this afternoon.
On the upside, however… I did manage to get through ALL of this today:
Only took me about 12 hours, but I’m caught up totally on grading AND all of the grades are even entered. Quite pleased with my students’ growth this semester. They’ve worked hard.
About the other thing, which isn’t anything about teaching or quilting, I’m still quite frustrated. But I might be able to sleep now.
Parenting: not for sissies, man.

no, it’s not. empathy hug from a stranger. A quilty stranger.
Not for sissies. It’ll work out; that I am sure. And what a delight to observe growth in your students!
Congratulations!!! Used your anger and frustration in a positive way! Did the tedious job of grading all of those papers, recorded the grades, saw positive growth in your students and still managed to put out a blog post! Big hugs from me a former teacher and administrator
As for the parenting, yes not for the faint of heart but all that hard work does pay off in ways you can’t even imagine.
Thanks so much for your post. I love who my children are becoming, and I have to keep that in mind when I have days like yesterday.
Thank you, Susan. 🙂
Quilty strangers are the best strangers of all. 🙂 Thank you.
