Finished: Fibonacci Circles

Y’all. Trapunto is cool.

You have to be super careful in the process so you don’t cut through your front fabric, and you have to use water-soluble thread (and do NOT lick the thread before you attempt to thread the needle or you really will feel like an idiot-ask-me-how-I-know), which is …interesting, tension-wise… (Note the loopy loops — WS thread, otherwise I would have picked it out)… But it’s just so AMAZING what trapunto can DO. I’m just saying. LOOK AT THIS OMG.

This is hanging on my design wall in my sewing room and it keeps tricking me into thinking it’s not flat and I KNOW it has been messed with trapunto enhancing that illusion and making it stick out from the wall.

I need to wet-block it to make it round again (it WAS round when I bound it… Not sure what happened but there’s a definite flat spot now), but I’m so pleased with how this one turned out.
