I added a link to a communications professor’s blog about Hurricane Katrina. I’m still reading it, but it’s interesting.

I heard on the radio today that if you want to help, the red cross will train you, then deploy you in a matter of days. They really need volunteers. They will pay your way, etc.

They’re even ignoring the usual 3 week rule. You can go for as little as a week this time.
