So. I had knee surgery last Thursday. They put a stitch in my medial meniscus, which is a slower rehab than just garden-variety arthroscopic surgery. This means that I’ll be on crutches and limited activity for 4-6 weeks. I won’t be able to drive, walk without crutches, much of anything, really. I’m kind of bummed about it, but what can you do? In 20 years, I’ll be glad that they did this rather than trim out the tear, because my meniscus will be stronger — and still whole — than if they had cut it.
I’m spending my time getting better acquainted with Photoshop, since I can’t quilt.
Here is my favorite digital layout so far. I hope you like it, too…

Here’s hoping for the speediest of recoveries…AND NO MORE SURGERIES FOR YOU, LIKE EVER!
This might be my favorite digital layout you’ve shared so far… LOVE IT! Sorry your recovery is going to be so limiting. And I ditto Anjali’s comment! Hopefully, this one is a lot less painful than your last recovery from surgery. See you next month!
A little birdie tells me that Elaine already has her next surgery scheduled.
Y’all, please convince this woman to find a new hobby.
